Reel cover for 16" open spoke metal reel (D1S) - for DM10 SP
The reel covers or splash guards by Duracable Manufacturing are recommended when cleaning a drain with an open metal reel. The covers acts as a barrier to prevent water from splattering while you are operating drain cleaning equipment. Our reel covers are made of a black nylon and vinyl material to keep the water contained and avoid splashing. The black color also helps hide the dirt after the job, however, the material is easy to clean. Don't let your drain equipment ruin your customers home. Invest in a reel cover to ensure that your customers continue to call you back.
The DRC16 is specifically used with a 16" spoke metal drum which fits on the DM10 drain cleaning machine from Duracable.
16" Cable Drum - Enclosed Poly
The 16" enclosed poly reel fits the J-Maxx and DM10 sled-style drain cleaning machines by Duracable. It is the smallest drum that will fit on the DM10 and J-Maxx, and it is designed to run 3/8" drain cables up to 75'.
The enclosed polyethylene drum keeps the job site clean by containing any splatter from the drain cables in the reel. Each reel has a removable plug to allow water to drain from the drum so cables can dry properly between jobs.
Recommended Cable: 3/8" x 75'
16" Cable Drum - Open Metal Spoke
The 16" open metal spoke reel fits the Duracable J-Maxx and DM10 sled-style drain cleaning machines. It is the smallest drum that will fit on the DM10 and J-Maxx, and it is designed to run 3/8" drain cables up to 75'.
The open spoke metal reels allow the sewer cable to dry more quickly than the enclosed polyethylene drums allow. Because the reel is open, there can be splatter from the sewer cables while they wind in and out of the drum.
